Privacy, terms & refunds

The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never see your footage, and we never sell or share your data.

If you buy a plugin. Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record — legally, they are the seller. They collect your name, email and billing/tax details and process the payment. We receive only the order details (your email, which product, and country for tax records). Your card details never touch this website and we never see or store them.

If you leave a review. We ask for a star rating, your review text, your Instagram handle and your email. The Instagram handle may be published alongside your review. Your email is never published or shared — it's only used to verify the review is genuine and to reply if needed. Review submissions are handled by Netlify (our host).

If you email us. We keep your email and message so we can help you, and for our records.

Your footage stays yours. The plugins run on your own machine. We never receive, upload or store your media. Where a plugin offers an optional cloud-assisted mode, that is off by default, is clearly marked on the product page, and only sends text — never your video.

Who else is involved. Lemon Squeezy (payments, licence keys and file delivery) and Netlify (website hosting and form submissions). That's it — no advertising networks, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

Your rights. Under GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email martin@24frames.ie and we'll sort it out. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires; review submissions we keep until you ask us to remove them.

What you're buying. A licence to use the plugin — one-time payment, no subscription. Your licence is lifetime, includes free updates for life at no extra cost, and can be activated on up to 2 machines. You can use it for personal or commercial work.

What you can't do. Redistribute, resell, rent, publish or share the plugin files or your licence key, or attempt to defeat the licence check. One licence is for one person.

Free tools. Some Nova tools are free to download and use, with no licence key and no account. They're offered as-is, and paying for them is entirely optional.

As-is. We build these carefully and use them ourselves, but we can't guarantee a plugin will suit every project, machine or workflow, and we're not liable for lost work — please keep backups, as you would with any tool. Each product page lists what it needs (Resolve version, platform, and whether Studio is required); check that before buying. If it doesn't work for you, that's what the refund is for.

Purchases. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and seller for all paid orders, so their terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.

Trademarks. Nova Plugins is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Blackmagic Design. DaVinci Resolve is a trademark of Blackmagic Design Pty Ltd.

14 days, no questions asked. If a plugin doesn't fit your workflow, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you — you don't have to justify it. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, and you can also request one directly from the receipt email they send you.

Free tools have nothing to refund. If you chose to pay what you want for a free tool and change your mind, email us and we'll return it.
